Lebron James DISRESPECTFULLY EXPOSES Ben Simmons' Shot

What you’re about to see is a whole playlist of clips where Lebron James is guarding Ben Simmons from the paint. He never made a single step outside of that area when matched up against the young sixer.
And although Philadelphia ran away with the victory, things didn’t go smooth for Simmons.
What up everybody my name is Stefan and this is Heat Check. Let’s get into it.
I guess this is the blessing and the curse of having a player like him as the point guard.
He went 3 for 13 from the field, and that is on uncontested jumpers. I don’t remember any point guard being left with so much space. And Simmons would either miss badly or not even look at the basket at all.
Lebron knew exactly what he was doing with this. He exaggerated all of this to make it obvious so for a player who can’t shot, this is destroying his confidence.
Simmons was so confused that he even got baited into taking a three which of course he missed. But if you’re asking yourself why am I even mentioning this, it’s because this was only the third attempt from behind the arc of the season for Ben.
And look at the other 2: Half court heaves at the end of quarters. Meaning that he really doesn’t feel comfortable taking those shots.
BTW here’s a fun fact. He didn’t hit a three last year as well, so he could very well end up without a three pointer in 2 years playing in the league.
But if you ask the sixers, they will take the bad with all the good that comes with him any day of the week.
Especially now when they got 4 guys around who can shoot. We all know that Simmons will always find guys for the shot. And that’s what happened in this game as well, as he ended up with 7 assists.
Although he didn’t show it against the Lakers, the guy is averaging 9 rebounds per game for the season.
We know how Philadelphia feeds off of his killer pace, especially in transition.
So as I mentioned, now his shooting and scoring isn’t the biggest problem for the team just because for example in this game Joel Embiid had 37 points Tobias Harris had 22 and JJ Reddick ended up with 21 points, all of them shooting above 60%
When you factor in all of this, it’s easy to understand how Ben Simmons can shoot a horrible percentage from the field and Philadelphia still wins by 23.
That’s why I said in my last video that the Sixers are going to be extremely dangerous in the playoffs.
The only thing left to see is if the rest of the Eastern Conference contending teams are going to see this as a recipe of slowing down the motor of the team, and how all of that is going to play out in the postseason.
That’s it for now, if you liked this video, subscribe and hit the notification bell so that you don’t miss my future in depth analysis. Talk to you in the next one. Peace out.

Ur content is really good but i m dissapointed with this one because no player comes to boost the confidence of the player of opponent team nd i'd rather say it was a smart move by lebron. Please atleast think before making a video!

The rest of the Sixers starters shot well beacuse the Lakers' defense is horrible and they can actually shoot. With Simmons you just have to clog the paint and he won't score.

I watched Ben in high school, never understood why he was ranked 1, now this is coming from a ball player not a spectator. He's a good player just don't think he should be a nba point guard

Man, where is the disrespect here? I simply cannot understand it. That was some smart playing, because LBJ took advantage of the fact that Ben Simmons cannot shoot 3ptrs. And, for the second point, since when the NBA become so sensitive about smart playing? I think that youre title isn't accurate at all, and the caps that you used for the term "disrepectfully" seems to me like an attemp to click-bait a thing that is not even proved in the video.

I'm a fan of Ben Simmons but Lebron is just so smart. He should work at it. Teams will take it as advantage against them.

Wow.... this is exactly what I've been trying to tell the league on how to guard players like Ben Simmons, Sean Livingston, and etc. Even centers that step out to the threes that aren't three point shooters. Dont even bother guarding them out there. Might as well double team someone, and or stay down low, but avoid the three second violation. Since im a nobody my words doesn't get out to the elites, and when someone within their origination, and or is considered elite, finally comes to their senses on how to play against such players like Simmons, then they get all the damn credit. Heck I can even predict curry, and hardens step back. Whenever I watch em play I always get the call right. Same for Durant snake. I always call out if he gonna take a three or not, and most of the time I get it right, and the player guarding them fails to predict which then = hands down man down.

LeBron only plays one side of the ball most times. If the plan was to really let Simmons take shots he could've easily guarded someone else instead. Double teaming someone etc... except if you watch the games. He just stands around and waits for shots. LeBron is "Smart" because he's like the guy at work who is lazy and never contributes but all of sudden becomes the employee of the month when your boss comes around to check up on you.

I wonder why ''DISRESPECTFULLY EXPOSES'' in the player but that is really negative position to speak from defender he had reason for doing that in the game. I wonder why am I being so negative speaking in Lebron James for a lot of Haters and a lot Fan of him but I will tell my opinion ~he is a player. he has skill and simple mind that can be show by actions.maybe he is good or bad~ well it doesn't even look like disrespect >> FULLY

Simmons is the same player he was a year ago. Can't shoot and won't shoot. He is getting bailed out by having very good players around him. Not even a point good and is a turnover machine. Can't be a point guard in this league and not be able to shoot. He should move to the four position and be a banger under the boards because he is a great rebounder.

In and out three point shot.... oF cOuRsE hE mIsSeD. Also, if you did real research, you’d know that Ben actually plays better when defenders sag off of him. Lebron guards everyone like this because he doesn’t care about putting effort in on defense this year. Lebron just allowed Ben to more space to see the floor. He only had 7 assists, but he set up about 8 other field goals off of extra passes. Also, teams used to sag off of rondo. How do you not remember that? This is some bs work.
