so much for being a man with integrity...HE TOOK THE MONEY! By the way, people who believe Kolon is WRONG stopped watching, and stopped buying from sponsors as well, so no win for Sharpe "the lesser" AGAIN! The league just swatted a gnat with less than what they use to wipe with.

Kaepernick should have taken the settlement to 50 - 100 million at least. Taking 10 million is chump change- suckers bet when the NFL makes billions.

The guy is a distraction. He leads to upset viewers, upset fans and fewer eyeballs on the TV screen, which has led to lower ad revenues. It's cheaper to just give the guy some money and have him go away. For the NFL, it's problem solved. Game over. See you later.

Colin Japernick was fined years ago for calling a teammate the “n” word. He grew his Afro out and now this. Terrible WB and blames racism for not having a job. Maybe is psycho girlfriend the Elysian activist shouldn’t have called and yelled racist remarks. I love it even when they are famous they still cause problems then blame everyone else.

This reminds me of a historic lesson where the losser can out like a winner. During theCivil War, the South lost, but they have statues all over the 🇺🇸. To a novice, the South really won and their way of life lives on till this day. Singing a nondisclosure agreements typically means the victim will recieve some ⚖, but they can't let us know all the details to form an opinion or discover the facts.

I’m not sure what one could go to court over. It’s entertainment. Teams have coaches and owners making decisions. If you don’t want a player, you don’t want a player. That’s all there is to it. (I’ve not taken a pretty good player because I didn’t want anything to do with their parents.... what’s the dif?)

Just reported this case was settled for a measly $10 million. After attorneys fees, Krapernick and Reid will get very little. The NFL simply settled to make this go away and rid themselves of Krapernick for good. Lol

You have to love it when a mixed QB raised by white parents in an upper middle class neighborhood goes on to make millions in the NFL, then teams up and dates another privileged half white, half blank radio host to push the idea that blacks are systematically oppressed in the US. Then they proceed to get paid millions by crying racism. Lol. Kinda smart but so wrong.

wow, 15 minutes pontificating about the settlement and no facts, evidence or proof that anything stated here is indeed the truth. Media reporting and burden of proof is actually so low, that 15 minutes of speculation gets over 1 million views and 11 thousand likes. Noting was stated that I don't here from the water tank at work. Where NONE of those involved in the discussion actually know jack sh#t about what went down between the NFL and Kaepernik, nevermind the motivations and reasoning behind the final settlement. And to think, many still don't get the concept of fake news, or how pro sports is just 'Bread & Circus" for the masses.

Kneeling started after he got benched for becoming a horribly incompetent at QB. No one benches a $20 million QB unless that QB became less effective than a 12 year old girl scout. Follow the money. NFL hurts its brand by being in a political trial about racism that goes on for years. They paid off the the race baiting opportunist and Colin was happy to take the money, shut up and go away.

He took the money and ran. He's going to live out the rest of his life with his money and his afro, and pursue what he's really wanted to pursue all along, Social Justice Warrior / Oppressed / Victim Status. Even though his cause lead to the assasination of innocent police officers, he's an activist hero to the Progressive Left. That's all he wants. He'll never play football again, because he doesn't want to. As a 9ers fan, I strongly believe that his success in the NFL was a product of the magic of the Harbaugh motivated 9ers offense, which was short-lived. He's good enough to be a back-up, but he'll never accept a back-up job or backup money, because it doesn't contribute to his identity as a Progressive Idol.

if crapernick had a good case, if this was about social justice, if this was about others, or anything other than MONEY for crapernick then he would never have settled. the nfl, like any big corporation, ALWAYS wants to settle. crapernick sold out. he proved it was always just about the money, not justice or doing the right thing or exposing corruption in the nfl. sharpe comparing this situation to brady and elliot is stupid and beyond apples and oranges. those cases were about league rules and their rights set forth in the cba to discipline players for their conduct. this case was a pure money grab by crapernick.

There are people who feel that Kaepernick sold out, Kap didn't sell out, people who feel that he sold out, been under the false impression that Kap had an issue with the NFL and was trying to get the NFL to do something in regards to the atrocities in America against people of color when he started sitting during the anthem, getting the NFL to do something was never what his sitting and kneeling was about he didn't have an issue with the NFL at that time. His sitting and kneeling was twofold, it was a personal decision, he felt the words of the anthem and America's justice system handling of the killing of unarmed people of color by police officers didn't match, because of that he felt he could no longer stand for the anthem. Also it was to bring attention to police brutality and the fact that unarmed people of color were being killed by police officers with no consequences and repercussions, and he accomplished that. Kap took it upon himself to try to make a positive difference in this country by putting his time and money where is mouth is. His issue with the NFL only began when it became obvious that NFL owners unjustly prevented him from making a living as a professional football player by blackballing him because he didn't stand for the anthem in protest of the killing of unarmed people of color by police officers. He sued them for it, they knew they were in the wrong and wouldn't win the case so they settled. Since 2016 Kap has used his platform, used his voice, and used his money to fight injustice in America. Colin Kaepernick is by no means a sell out. Any person of color who is still playing in the NFL, still coaching in the NFL, still working in in the NFL in any capacity, who is still supporting the NFL by going to their games, watching their games on tv, and buying their merchandise etc. etc. are the real sellouts.

What I understood, initially the 49ers didn't let him go he chose to go free agency and from that point on none of the other NFL teams were interested in him. Then of course the rest of the media attention around Colin Kaepernick took off. Also there were teams that offered him a second spot on the team as a backup quarterback he refused didn't want that well he wasn't in the league for two years if he was interested in playing football why didn't he take it? now he's saying he wants 20 million so he's got a lot of different things going on here I don't know what he's really complaining about is the money is it social issues, when Kaepernick came into the league, why didn't he bring up these issues that we're so dear to him then? I think he's a good quarterback I think he can start for a lot of different teams but it's a shame that all this had to come too pass. why don't we keep football about football and other social events away from the workplace.
