The Vanishing of Flight 370

On the 8th of March, 2014, Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 vanished during a routine flight between Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Beijing, China. The case has since grown into one of the most puzzling mysteries in aviation history. In this video, I examine the findings of the official investigation and explore some of the leading theories.

How about the passengers. Maybe one of them knew one of the captain's in the flight (so maybe that's how they got into the cabinet) , but the question is where is the plane ? Like it's impossible for it to just vanish , unless it was planned And we are now in 2019 , and with the equipment we have now , searching for an air craft that is missing should be easy

The aircraft experienced sudden depressurization. It happened at the time there was a sudden increase in altitude. The younger co-pilot finished loading the autopilot for flights later that day, probably activating it by accident as he stood up. Or it could have been a lithium battery fire. Regardless, copilot went to the lavatory leaving the pilot in the cockpit when the depressurization event happened. The older man...the pilot was able to put on his oxygen mask but passenger aircraft oxygen systems are not designed for instant use. Everyone else aboard the plane was unconscious in 30 seconds and dead within 90 seconds of the event. The pilot stabilized the aircraft and looked into the cabin to see 100% of passengers and crew dead. The Malaysian pilot realized his life expectancy was longer and better if he ditched the plane where it would not soon be found . The families who were waiting for the flight to arrive in China would have literally ripped the pilot apart at the airport had he landed that plane full of dead Chinese. He evaded all the radar and when the fuel was almost gone, he put down the landing gear and wing flaps (helps breakup the plane) and nosedived in at 400 mph to ensure swift death, which the aircraft manufacturer (Boeing) appreciated I am sure.

Pilot committed suicide, most probable cause. The satcoms and manual course redirection had to have been done by the pilot. It was then reprogrammed to fly into a very remote part of the Indian Ocean, where he knew it would not be found. Like lemmino says, it had to have been done by someone with requisite knowledge of the aircrafts systems. It’s hard to get into somebody’s head before there about to commit an act like this, but i think it was the pilot.

    2 dias atrás

So.. I am no expert on this, but like many I have my opinion. The course changes directly point to manual control. Whether that was under duress or through voluntary actions we just don't know. I do think the path to the South has been more or less correctly plotted. The problem is that the area it points to is both remote as well as deep, and prone to extremely bad weather. Making searching such an area difficult. That's before you factor in any possible deviations on the flightpath during it's final hours, increasing the area needing to be searched almost exponentially. Ultimately I think we'll find 370 on the seabed, pretty much intact after gliding down rather than impacting the ocean surface, in an area that we had already surveyed. Most likely somewhere near the area that the beacons were detected before their battery life gave out. As for why? I don't think we'll ever know - even if we get the cockpit voice recordings. It would be nice to think that the most positive outcome from this will be a better survey of the ocean's bottom, as it's sorely needed, with additional "always on" identifiers being introduced to all aircraft but the saddest part must surely be the friends and relatives of those who have lost their lives will never have full closure over what exactly happened.

All points to the pilot, since the flight path made a turn near where he came from, he didn't acknowledge ' good night ' , had a flight simulator at home with obscure flight paths. Only he knows how to steer the plane to the most undetectable parts of the ocean, anyone else besides the copilot wouldn't have that skill. If they all passed out, it would have stayed on course and crashed on land odds are. If hijacked, terrorists would have flown it into a populated area to cause more destruction.
